But you know the truth - friendship is the greatest power of them all. And with your friendship, you’re going to solve your problems and make the world a better place! Or at least make yourself and your friends rich. Whatever works.

The Real Treasure Was The Friends We Made Along The Way is a sixteen-page one-shot RPG for two or more players, suitable for taking part over the course of two to three hours. It can be undertaken using a variety of genres or styles, as long as you are telling a story about a group of people gathering even more people to solve a problem. It uses a lot of dice, referred to in the course of the game as Friends. You roll your Friends when you get in trouble, and hopefully they don't get in trouble too! 

 This game includes all the rules you need to play, including character creation, how to run a game, and a series of possible scenarios to use as a base or play out as written.
